Suicide is a subject many are afraid to talk about or even acknowledge. But how do we not talk about one of the leading causes of death? Each year, suicides claim the lives of 44,000 people in the United States alone. It’s the third leading cause of death for children between ages 10 and 14, and the second leading cause of death for people between 15 and 34.
Before the advent of synthetic compounds, injections, and expensive medications, the human body was accustomed to natural herbs and spices. Our planet Earth has thousands of healing plants that grew during biblical times.
Jesus didn’t seem to be as concerned about the amount of faith a person has as many people today are!
The life context of the question is all too familiar. The issue arises in our darkest hours–in the hospital ward, in the doctor’s office, when the unfavorable test results return. Our need often arises unexpectedly and then consumes us.
