Are You Fed Up? – Encouragement for Today

I share this for somebody who woke up, fed up, messed up and tired. I am sharing this for you who feel as if nothing you do, works and no matter how you pray, you cannot seem to get ahead. You’re staring at your vision board and the anger coursing through you, wants to rip it up. You’re reading over your book, for the tenth time, and it still doesn’t feel right. You’re counting the ticket sales, of your event, and they’re still at the same low as when you counted them ten minutes ago. You’ve paid for advertisements, you’ve shared the plans, you’ve spent the money and still nothing. You stepped out on faith and the enemy wants to make you believe, it was a mistake. You’ve given up the alcohol and now you’re contemplating taking one drink. You’ve deleted all the folk in your phone but the mindset, you’re currently in, has you thinking about calling somebody to take the pain away; only if it is temporary. Don’t do it. Don’t give up. Don’t throw in the towel. Don’t stop believing in the purpose God has placed the inside of you. Why not? Because I’m praying for you.

And beloved, my prayer for you today is simple ”¦ As you stand under an open Heaven, may you receive a fresh wind of anointing that shall hit your house, so heavy the windows shake. May the grace of a living God, saturate you like you’ve been caught in the thunderstorm without an umbrella. May God’s will for your life, be so clear, you’ll think it’s your new glasses when it’s all God.

May this week be the beginning of everything your faith has worked for. May God show up, in your life, so fast and on time, it’ll have you speaking in tongue; for the first time. May God allow the blessing, only He could perform, be so big that it’ll feel like an earthquake that shifted your house. May this minute, for all that are in your rightful place, be your last minute of minimum.

May this Monday, be the last Monday you find yourself missing out. May this be your last memory of having to ask people to borrow. May this be your last time going to bed hungry, unless it’s by choice. May this be your last time ever thinking God doesn’t hear the cry of the righteous. May this be the moment you walk, boldly, into the open door of your harvest. I’m praying for you, my brother and my sister because there shall be no soul left behind.

But I have prayed for you, that your faith may not fail; and you, when once you have turned again, strengthen your brothers.

Luke 22:32

Right Friends – The Right Destiny

Don't put fullstop where God has placed a comma in your life

Ponder this, in Christ your destiny is too big to accomplish on your own. That’s why it’s so important to be connected to the right people. You have to understand that God has already placed certain people around you to speak faith into you. He has already placed people in your path that will inspire you, challenge you, and help you accomplish your dreams.

The reason some people never reach their highest potential is because they never get away from the wrong people. Recognise that not everyone is going where God is taking you. You’ve got to connect with people who understand a God given destiny, and can see your spiritual potential and your seeds of greatness.

Today, remember, you don’t have time to spend on people who are always pushing you down, telling you what you can’t do, or never giving you their approval no matter how hard you try. Those are not the friends you need, life is too short to drag people along. If you can get the wrong people out of your life, maybe then God will bring in the right people so you can fulfil the destiny He has mapped out for you.

“One who has unreliable friends soon comes to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.

Proverbs 18:24, NIV

Pray With Me
Yahweh, thank You for preparing the right people to place in my life. Father, please help me to discern the right people You have for me. God, give me the strength to release the wrong relationships, so I have room in my life for the people You have chosen to connect me with my destiny, in Jesus’ Name! Amen.

“Godinterest want’s to introduce you to a great young man Taquarius Wair (TQ) a high school football player, who is in his senior year.

Taquarius Wair burned 55% of his body and in some places to the bone in a tragic house fire at the early age 4. He lost four fingers on his left hand.

His mother saved him from the fire, but he ran back in trying to save his oldest sister. She didn’t survive, but his hero heart holds her with every stride.

“All I can remember is the fire all around me,” Wair said. “My Mother called my name and I came walking out of the fire. She said it was then that she knew I was going to be special.”

Taquarius Wair

“I don’t remember much of my life before I was 8, but I do know that is when my no quit attitude was developed,” said Wair. “I remember people looking at me and probably thinking I wasn’t going to be good, but I was really good.”

Inspiring story of Taquarius Wair – a high school football player who was burn over 55% of his body. Taquarius never gave up on his dream to play and is playing college football next year!

He almost didn’t play this year because he thought no disabled person will ever go pro. That was until the Seattle Seahawks drafted a one handed player, Shaquem Griffin, in the 5th round.

Taquarius Wair did not quit and its a good thing because he will now play college football at Mesabi Range College. Taquarius Wair fought through his disabilities and received an offer to play football at the collegiate level.

Wair finished off his first ever complete football season in 2018. He helped lead his team to the 2A State Semi-Finals at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota. T.Q. will be playing football for head coach Tom Inforzato at Mesabi Range Community College.

His goals are simple.

“My next step is to play in the NFL like Shaquem Griffin,” said Wair. “I look forward to watching Taquarius Wair be an inspiration for kids in years to come.”

My point you have no idea who you can inspire by chasing your God given dreams. Get up and chase down your greatness!“

Barely arrived on Monday and it’s already Friday

Hardly the day started and … it is already six o’clock in the evening.

Barely arrived on Monday and it’s already Friday.

… and the month is already over.

… and the year is almost up.

… and already 40, 50 and 60 years of our lives have passed.

… and we then realise that we have lost our parents and friends. And then we realise that it is too late to go back …

So … Let’s try, however, to take full advantage of the time we have left …

Let’s not stop looking for activities that we like …

Let’s put color in our greyness …

Let’s smile at the little things in life that put balm in our hearts.

And yet, we must continue to enjoy serenely the time that remains. Let’s try to eliminate the “after” …

I do it after …

I will say after …

I will think about it after …

We leave everything for later as if “after” was ours.

Because what we do not understand is that:

after, the coffee cools …

after, priorities change …

after, the charm is broken …

after, health passes …

after, the children grow up …

after, the parents get older …

after, the promises are forgotten …

after, the day becomes the night …

after, life ends …

And after that it’s often too late ….

So … leave nothing for later …

Because always waiting for later, we can lose the best moments,

the best experiences,

the best friends,

the best family …

The day is today … The moment is now …

We are no longer at the age where we can afford to postpone until tomorrow what needs to be done right away.

So let’s see if you’ll have time to read this message and then share it.

Or maybe you’ll leave it for … “later” …

And you will not share it “ever” ….

25 Wonderful Christian Quotes for the New Year

Another year of your life closes today. How can you look back upon it? Have you made advancement in the divine life? Have you increased in spirituality? Have you crucified self, with the affections and lusts? Have you an increased interest in the study of God’s Word? Have you gained decided victories over your own feelings and waywardness?

Oh, what has been the record of your life for the year which has now passed into eternity, never to be recalled?

As you enter upon a new year, let it be with an earnest resolve to have your course onward and upward. Let your life be more elevated and exalted than it has hitherto been. Make it your aim not to seek your own interest and pleasure, but to advance the cause of your Redeemer. Remain not in a position where you ever need help yourself, and where others have to guard you to keep you in the narrow way. You may be strong to exert a sanctifying influence upon others. You may be where your soul’s interest will be awakened to do good to others, to comfort the sorrowful, strengthen the weak, and to bear your testimony for Christ whenever opportunity offers. Aim to honor God in everything, always and everywhere. Carry your religion into everything.

Prepare for eternity with such a zeal as you have not yet manifested. Educate your mind to love the Bible, to love the prayer meeting, to love the hour of meditation, and, above all, the hour when the soul communes with God. Become heavenly-minded if you would unite with the heavenly choir in the mansions above.

A new page is turned in the book of the recording angel.  Let a record be stamped there which you will not be ashamed to have revealed to the gaze of men and angels.

These great quotes will get you ready for the new year!

The 48 Most Challenging C.S. Lewis Quotes

Clive Staples Lewis was a British novelist, poet, academic, medievalist, literary critic, essayist, lay theologian, broadcaster, lecturer, and Christian apologist.

Obviously, there’s no sure way to quantify any preacher’s impact, but the numbers for C.S. Lewis are telling.

Though he was a student of Scripture, C.S. Lewis is probably best known for his role as a great activist, writer and thinker and  from his works such as The Chronicles of Narnia, The Screwtape Letters, and Space Trilogy. Still making an impact, his Bible teachings and writings remain just as applicable today as they were more 50 years ago.

C.S. Lewis has written dozens of stories, poems, essays and novels.

Perhaps one reason for C.S. Lewis continuing legacy is his ability to speak plainly and clearly. He is immensely quotable.  The writings of Lewis have been translated into 30 languages, selling millions of copies.

“C. S. Lewis is one of the most quoted authors on Twitter.”

He had much wisdom to share—his numerous books are well worth reading in full—but for now, here are some of his quotes that have helped shape modern Christian thought.

50 Quotes to Inspire Successful Leadership

Most people  believe  that the key to successful leadership is influence, not authority. Do you agree? The answer to that question, it seems, lies in whether the goal is to get others to work from a place of compliance or from a place of commitment  which underlines the difference between influential leadership and authoritative leadership.

Working within an influential leadership model, committed employees will give up discretionary time to solve problems, serve customers, and think creatively.
