  1. Dear friends,

I’m soliciting prayers for a friends three year old son who feel into a pool Sunday afternoon and rushed to intensive care. The Drs. said at the time it didn’t look good, but who do we serve, a mighty God, who can turn things around!

By the evening, Andjelko’s heart started to beat, but his lungs were badly damaged and his brain function they weren’t sure about, nevertheless they felt at the time he wasn’t showing any signs of immediate brain damage.

On Monday, he was put into an induced coma to help his recovery and rest his brain.
Andjelko was taken off sedation to see how he would respond, I’m afraid the signs weren’t good, however, his lungs are doing much better.

Today the Drs. prepared my friend and family for possible severe brain damage because went without oxygen for 25 minutes before he was resuscitated. Andjelko remains sedated with his favourite music, voices and sounds around him to help stimulate his brain. He can’t breathe on his own yet, but his heart and lungs have good results. Prayers needed for his brain function.

GOD has heard our prayers thus far, He has been merciful, hallelujah, but this is not the time to stop praying, but to continue fervently. Please pray today, tonight in the morning, whenever you can, as the next 24hrs will know his true condition.

Please pass this on to any of your prayer groups. Where God is, there is always hope.
    GOD IS ABLE 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

Thank you all, with love Michele.

  2. Hi All!! This is Hartley Henry – Principal Advisor to Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit of Dominica. It’s 4 30am and I Just Spoke with Prime Minister Skerrit via Satellite phone. He and family are fine. Dominica is not!! Tremendous loss of Housing and Public buildings. The main general hospital took a beating. Patient care has been compromised. Many buildings serving as shelters lost roofs, which means that a very urgent need now is tarpaulins and other roofing materials. Little contact has been made with the outer communities but persons who walked 10 and 15 miles towards the city of Roseau from various outer districts report total destruction of homes, some roadways and crops. Urgent helicopter services are needed to take food, water and tarpaulins to outer districts for shelter. Canefield airport can accommodate helicopter landings and it is expected that from today, the waters around the main Roseau port will be calm enough to accommodate vessels bringing relief supplies and other forms of assistance. It’s difficult to determine the level of fatalities but so far seven are confirmed, as a direct result of the hurricane. That figure, the Prime Minister fears, will rise as he wades his way into the rural communities today -Wednesday. The urgent needs now are roofing materials for shelters, bedding supplies for hundreds stranded in or outside what’s left of their homes and food and water drops for residents of outlying districts inaccessible at the moment. The tarmac at Mellville Hall was not too badly damaged so the strip should be opened in a day or two for larger relief planes to land. The Prime Minister is hoping to make contact with ABS Radio in Antigua this morning to speak directly to the outer world as to the state of Dominica and its urgent needs. The country is in a daze – no electricity, no running water -as a result of uprooted pipes in most communities and definitely to landline or cellphone services on island, and that will be for quite a while. In summary, the island has been devastated. The housing stock significantly damaged or destroyed. All available public buildings are being used as shelters; with very limited roofing materials evident. The country needs the support and continued help and prayers of all. Will update further as new information is received. HHH

  3. I need prayer because I am planning to make a big move out of state in 2019. I am taking my 79yo mom with me. I am believing God for the resources to make the trip swiftly and safely, to get quickly settled for life at the new location, and for my mother to get a place to live at a good assisted living facility. She is not an invalid, just elderly. She cares for herself, except when she has a flare up of osteoarthritis or gout. She has been bedridden for months as a time, and I need lots of help when she is in this condition. I have been doing it myself. Thanking everyone for their prayers.

  4. Thank all of you for your prayers. Last week I asked if you would pray that my blog site, wisdomfromabove might increase significantly as an indication to me that this is where I should invest the majority of my ministry time now that I am almost 70 years old. There has been a noticeable increase in visitors and I’m grateful that some of those visitors have been yourselves. Because of this, I’ve decided that my blog ministry is going to be the major focus of my time for the rest of my life unless God leads otherwise in the future. Thank you and God bless all of you.

  5. Dear Father God, Thank You for Your unfailing love for me, Your blessings, and goodness. Thank You for Your faithfulness to guide me and see me through times of uncertainty, for lifting me up, and setting me on high. Thank You for Scripture that comforts and reminds me of Your promises, plan, and provision. Thank you for taking away my fears and worries, the what-ifs, and reminding me that my help comes from You. Help me be a good steward and to sow wisely. In Christ’s Name, Amen. ~ Renee Davis

  6. Short Prayer for God’s Strength
Lord, thank you for your greatness. Thank you that when I am weak, you are strong. Lord, the Devil is scheming and I know he desires to keep me from spending time with you. Don’t let him win! Give me a measure of your strength so that I might not give into discouragement, deception and doubt! Help me honor you in all my ways. In Jesus’ Name, Amen. ~ Debbie Przybylski

  7. Please pray with me concerning the investment of my time in my blog site, wisdomfromabove. Does God want me to focus my time developing sermons and placing them on this site or does He want my priorities to be in other areas – hospice, nursing home ministry. I’ve asked God to make it obvious to what the primary focus of ministry should be. I’m now retirement age and want God to continue to use me after I die, so I’ve asked Him if He would double the number of visitors to my site if He wants that to be the ministry priority for the rest of my life. I don’t want to use any marketing strategies but rather, watch Him direct in answer to prayer. Thank you for your prayers.

    ………………
“Heavenly Father we call you holy and righteous because that is who you are. We exalt your name on high. In fact we say glory in the highest. Lord you sit high up and look down. The earth is your footstool. Today we call forth your praise in the islands according to your Word. Because you say the islands shall praise You, Lord we ask for mercy on the passage of this Category 5 hurricane system, Irma. We ask you to spare lives, oh God, and limbs in Jesus name. In Antigua and Barbuda, Dutch and French St.Maarten, St.Kitts and Nevis, Tortola, Dominica, The BVI, the USVI, Puerto Rico, Cayman Islands, Hispaniola, Cuba, Jamaica, The Bahamas and any where else in the Caribbean that Irma might want to touch.
We also mention storm Jose in the Atlantic and ask you to also spare Trinidad and Tobago, Barbados, Grenada, St. Lucia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Montserrat, Martinique, Guadeloupe, Tropical Depression #13 in the Gulf of Mexico that threatens Belize. Lord have mercy on us as we repent of our sins. We subject them all to your mighty power and we together say ‘peace storms. Be still in Jesus name.’ Give those in the paths wisdom to move and to follow instructions to preserve their lives and strengthen first responders and volunteers.
