The Blessings of Spring, and Every Day

There are many blessings, that each new Spring brings you can see it bloom about and hear the song it sings.

With winters bleakness over, and brighter days ahead comes promises of new life Springtime loves to spread.

As God unfolds the flowers, and their buds begin to show He gives to us the assurance grace in our hearts will grow.

He sends us the robin’s song, with the promise to provide a shelter under His mighty wing where in His love we can abide.

He melts the snowy covers, and sends the refreshing rain sprinkling us with His mercies to heal winter’s ache and pain.

God’s given to all His Son, to shed upon us a new light and the real blessing of Spring is keeping Jesus in our sight!

“For, lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone; The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come, and the voice of the turtle is heard in our land;”

The Greatest Gift

Sphere Of Influence

The greatest gift God has given us is to believe. If you believe and obey God’s Word, you will be successful. If you believe and obey God’s Word, you can overcome your past. If you believe and obey God’s Word, you will reach your God-given destiny. There is incredible power in what you believe, which leads to obedience.

What you believe is greater than your circumstances, greater than your trials, greater than your medical report, and greater than your bank account! When you believe what He says about you, then what you believe will supersede any natural law. I have a friend that came to Oakwood University with nothing but the clothes on his back. He graduated with his BA on time, MA a year later, then went on to get his PhD. Today, he is one of the world’s best motivational speakers, speaking to millions and motivating the players and staff at the NFL and NBA.  Against all odds, he believed he could do what God placed in his heart.

Today, nurture your belief by dwelling on His Word. As you get the Word of God in your heart, greater faith will come to you. Your, belief will grow, strengthen and will rise up in you, empowering you to take hold of all the blessings God has in store for you!

”God has dealt to each one a measure of faith.”

(Romans 12:3, NKJV)

Pray With Me
Yahweh, thank You for Your Word of truth which sets me free and gives me a greater believe in my heart for You. Father, I lift up my eyes to You and ask You to strengthen my belief. God, I turn my focus toward Your Word, and invite You to have Your way in may mind, body and soul, in Jesus’ Name! Amen.

A True Miracle: 5-Year-Old Thrown Off Balcony at Mall of America Suffers no Spinal Damage, no Nerve Damage and no Brain Damage

A True Miracle: 5-Year-Old Thrown Off Balcony at Mall of America Suffers Spinal Damage, no Nerve Damage and no Brain Damage

A man called Aranda approached the little boy’s mom at a group at the mall on the 12 of April 2019. Landen mom asked him if they were in his way and should move. Without hesitation or warning the stranger picked up Landen and threw him from the balcony at the Mall of America.

Surprisingly, this isn’t the first time 24-year-old has committed crimes at the mall. Aranda has two prior assault convictions from 2015 and was apparently banned from the the Mall of America for a period of time. He was also instructed to undergo psychological evaluation following those earlier attacks.

Later that day Aranda admitted to throwing the boy off the balcony to Police after they captured on a light rail train leaving the mall. He also told the police that he had attempted to kill somebody the day before (preferably an adult), but it didn’t “work out.”

He is being held in Hennepin County Jail in lieu of $2million bail and is scheduled to appear in court on May 14.

The suspect’s uncle, Francis Aranda, told KSTP that his nephew had displayed violent tendencies since childhood.

‘He has a serious mental problem, he was diagnosed as a child,’ the relative said.

He added: ‘We are going to pray for that baby [Landen] because what happened is so unfortunate, but it’s going to bring light to mental illness, I hope he [Aranda] doesn’t go to jail, he needs help.’

Pastor Mac Hammond (above) at the church Landen Hoffmann’s family attends in Woodbury, Minnesota, updated the congregation on the five-year-old’s condition on Sunday, nine days after he was thrown off a third-story balcony at the Mall of America on April 12

In spite of being thrown off a balcony that could have killed him, doctors have reported that Landen is thankfully doing much better than expected to the point where even the medical staff are chalking it up to nothing but a “miracle.”

This is truly a miracle. It’s like he fell off a bicycle instead of off the third floor of the mall.”

Mac Hammon, the pastor of the family’s church, was contacted by Landen’s grandpa on Sunday during the Easter sermon.

The results were obtained after a 5-hour MRI. “Doctors said they found no brain damage – not even any swelling,” Hammond told church congregants on Easter. “No spinal damage, no nerve damage ”¦ doctors are saying it is truly a miracle.”

Mac Hammon, shared that the boy did suffer many broken bones, including fractures on his arm, leg, and face. He will also need to have his spleen removed.

The GoFundMe page set up for Landen posted this encouraging update a week after the incident:

“The power of prayer is simply amazing. We all have been extremely humbled by the outpouring of support and prayers from everyone. Thank you for showing us there is so much good not only in our community but across the globe. Condition is again similar to previous days, another peaceful night of sleep — small steps towards the healing process. Each new day is a good day. Landen’s recovery is expected to be ongoing for a long time, while it’s hard to estimate costs, this will change everything for their family and require much of their time and focus.”

Over 27,000 people have donated to a GoFundMe campaign that has raised more than $961,000 as of Tuesday morning.

Mental Health Facts, Stats, and Data

  • Over 44 million American adults have a mental health condition. Since the release of the first State of Mental Health in America report (2015), there has only been a slight decrease in the number of adults who have a mental health condition (from 18.19% to 18.07%)
  • Rate of youth experiencing a mental health condition continues to rise. The rate of youth with Major Depressive Episode (MDE) increased from 11.93% to 12.63%. There was only a 1.5% decrease in the rate of youth with MDE who did receive treatment. Data showed that 62% of youth with MDE received no treatment.
  • More Americans are insured and accessing care. We can continue to see the effects of healthcare reform on the rate of Adults who are uninsured. This year there was a 2.5% reduction in the number of Adults with a mental health condition who were uninsured.
  • …But many Americans experiencing a mental health condition still report having an unmet need. 1 in 5, or 9 million adults reported having an unmet need.
  • Mental health workforce shortage remains. Many states saw some improvement in their individual to mental health provider ratio. But in states with the lowest workforce there was almost 4 times the number individuals to only 1 mental health provider.

He Will Finish What He Started

He Will Finish What He Started

This weekend, Christianity will celebrate the resurrection of Christ, which all started when they crucified Jesus, on that Friday. It was the darkest, most painful, discouraging day of His life. In fact, it was so bad that He sweat drops of blood. It looked as if His enemies had gotten the best of Him. But God had other plans.

On Friday, they put Him in the grave as they celebrated their demonic victory, but by Sunday morning it was a different story. The grave could not hold Him! Death couldn’t contain Him! The forces of darkness couldn’t stop Him! On the third day as He had promised, He came out of the grave and said, “I was dead, but now I am alive forevermore!” Hallelujah!

Today, one lesson that we can learn from the resurrection is that God will always finish what He started. No matter how dark it looks, no matter how long it’s been, no matter how many people are trying to push you down; if you will stay in faith, God will always take you from Friday to Sunday as He has promised. He will always complete what He started in you!

“He was buried…he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures.”

(1 Corinthians 15:4, NIV)?

Pray With Me
Yahweh, thank You for the reassurance that You will complete what You started in my life. Father, I trust that no matter how dark things may seem on this Friday, by Sunday things will change by faith. Yahshua, You are my shining light of hope. Thank You for the resurrection which gives me confidence of victory in every area of my life, in Jesus’ Name! Amen.

A special word from the Lord, from Pastor Ray Patrick

Are You A Dumb Disciple?

With Easter only being a few days away, it’s easy to listen in on the story where Jesus tells the disciples that soon He will be betrayed and suffer, be nailed to a cross and die, and after three days rise again, and think, “dumb disciples, why didn’t they ever get it? Why couldn’t they hear what He told them so plainly and not  just once but three times?”

Thinking about it, I’m not sure the disciples were dumb, or at least that I am any smarter than they were. There are lots of times when I switch off, I hear only what I want to hear, not what was being said. And there have also been quite a number of times that I’ve been speaking to congregations, especially ones where people are angry and frightened, and I’ve noticed that their capacity for hearing what’s being said, or seeing what’s going on can be zero. Truth can be spoken over and over and we just don’t seem to hear it. Strange!

So why did He tell them what was about to go down? I feel that somehow, later, they would recall His words subconsciously. They would say, “I remember, now I get it.” And what exactly would they be getting? That when our plans and predictions go bust and our expectations aren’t fulfilled, God is still God. God is still working and is able to bring about His purposes in spite of our sin.

Today, just because what we thought would happen or should happen doesn’t, it doesn’t mean the whole story is over. The story is God’s story, bigger than we can grasp, better than we can imagine. So let’s listen and not just hear, let’s see and not just look. How? With our spiritual hearts and mind.

But they understood nothing about all these things; in fact, what he said was hidden from them, and they did not grasp what he said.

(Luke 18:34)

Pray With Me
Yahshua, forgive me for being a dumb disciple, for the times when my heart goes hard, and the eyes of my heart are closed, and the ears of my heart are stopped. God, keep working with me, leading me in Your will, healing my heart and opening my eyes and ears to Your grace. In Jesus’ Name! Amen.

OH, HOW THEY LOVE TO MOCK US

OH, HOW THEY LOVE TO MOCK US

Christianity has taken on many forms in past centuries. It started out with righteous purpose, but people soon realised that there was power to be had, and they took it. Fast forward to the present, and we have hoards of people openly mocking our faith and our LORD Jesus with little or no consequence- yet.

Let me stress that although the religion of Christianity changed due to the hands it fell into, our LORD Jesus and His message have never changed, and I am confident that there were faithful people throughout the ages. However, the world has gathered together to mock us in the most demeaning and disgusting manner that leaves me in no doubt that we are in the End Times. It seems that people are taking these changes through time and using them as ammunition to prove how senseless and false our faith is, blaming us for all that is wrong in the world. Funny that. We’re essentially being blamed for the wrongdoings of others because it is easier to do that than find out the truth of GOD’S Word. Go figure.

Anti-Christian movies have been a firm favourite, a hobby with Hollywood (or Hellywood as many have started calling it!), always portraying Christians as arrogant, annoying, mean-spirited, and dangerous Bible-thumpers. It is ridiculously easy to find a film that misrepresents Scripture and Christians, disrespects GOD, and overall seeks to make our faith into a joke. In the 1960 movie Inherit the Wind, Hollywood tried to falsely represent the Scopes trial in an attempt to smear Christianity. Basically, the Darwinists were portrayed in a positive light while William Jennings Bryan was made out to be a deceitful low-life who died in the courtroom in a fit of madness. The reality is that he won the trial and kept his Christian values to the end, while Darrow (a Darwinist) was the real snake. Footloose, 2012, Father Ted, The Exorcist, Religulous, Monty Python and The Holy Grail, 12 Years A Slave and many more are all examples of attempts to misrepresent our faith.

Netflix seems to have taken this hobby to new lengths with that offensive series Miss Magic Jesus. It’s centred around a teenage girl who loses 70 pounds and enters the Miss Magic Jesus Pageant in which the winner dons a “crown of thorns.” The series carries several LGBT storylines, promotes all sorts of sexual and gender identity exploration, has fat shaming, and the most horrendous of all, it has sexual references to Jesus and the Holy Spirit. There is one particular scene that is one of the most offensive (read about it but couldn’t bring myself to watch it), in which a song is sung with words that disgusted me to no end. I will not even bother to give a line, you can easily find it on a google search.

It is not hard to find examples of mockery. You can find it on Broadway, Hollywood, schools, places of work, comedians, restaurants, and anywhere else that I have not mentioned. I also honestly believe that we are one of the reasons for the mockery. Oh, I can blame history (which I did), the devil, Hollywood, etc., but it wouldn’t be fair if I did not put us into the equation as well. It’s so easy to make ourselves into victims, but we forget the part we play in not only mocking ourselves but Jesus as well. Whenever we have knowingly sinned, we have made a mockery of his sacrifice upon that cross. Whenever we have not taken His Word with all sincereness and respect, we have mocked His power. And yet, we are forgiven if indeed we truly repent.

You know, I can take mockery if it is for Jesus, but I’m not so understanding when people openly mock GOD. You can mock how seemingly boring I am because I do not need alcohol to loosen up and have a good time, you can mock me for not joining in when you cuss out someone. You can mock me for refusing to wear clothing that highlights any part of my body, telling me that I might as well be Muslim for the amount of skin that I show. You can mock me for quoting Scripture for every occasion, you can even ridicule me for following my Saviour, a Man whom you think is an average man we have merely idolised for the sake of control. I’ll not concern myself with all that mockery (at least, I try not to), but when you make a mockery of Jesus, GOD, or the Holy Spirit, then the only thing that will keep me from reprimanding you is the Holy Spirit Himself.

It’s not a case of ‘I hate you for saying that’, but a case of ‘Do you realise what you are saying? Whom you are talking about and mocking? Is there no fear in you?’ I am fearful for these foolish people because to fall into the hands of the Almighty is a frightful thing indeed. I will not sit back and not warn them if it is within my ability to. Perhaps they will not listen, but that is no excuse for not telling them the truth, especially if the Holy Spirit is prompting you to. There will always be opposition to GOD’S Word, but that is never a reason to stop proclaiming His truth. You may not reach that person now, but whose to say that your words will not echo in their hearts in days or years to come? It’s not Bible-thumping when done with a sincere heart, a genuine fear for their souls.

A Map For Life

Just ask my husband if I’m good with directions. For that matter, ask any of my children and just see what they say! I’ll be the first to admit that I am NOT good with directions! And have you ever heard of the phrase, “They couldn’t find their way out of a paper bag!” Well…I don’t think I’m THAT bad, but family members may disagree!

Who remembers a map? You know, a map that was made of paper, that had directions on where to go. I used to love getting those things in my hands and map out our vacation route…oh wait, I never did that, someone else always did!

No maps anymore! Not when you have a phone that can do it all! Thus, the lost art of mapping (the old fashioned way!)

I’m so thankful I have a Heavenly Father who knows that I need help in getting where I’m going! Without Him, I truly am lost!

I’ve been taking scripture, a verse and studying it for a week. I read before the certain passage and after. And this week, it’s really speaking to me.

“Here I am, your invited guest – it’s incredible!

I enter your house; here I am, prostrate in your inner sanctum, (now here’s the good part!)

Waiting for direction to get me safely through enemy lines.” Psalm 5:7-8 msg

Do you ever feel like life sometimes is just going through one enemy line right after another? There’s someone who can lead you through it, and his name is JESUS!

In A Second God Can Turn It Around

In A Second God Can Turn It Around

All day yesterday while in Jordan there was evidence of God showing up. From the super extended stay for free at the hotel, to getting us to the airport with time to spare after leaving late. Then allowing the cases through when they were 5kg overweight. Then, when we land in Bahrain the hotel we reserved was higher in price, but after a silent prayer we managed to get a room almost £50 cheaper. Hallelujah!

All through the Bible, we have examples of how God suddenly showed Himself strong on behalf of His people. But sometimes when we’ve struggled for a long time, it’s easy to just give up. One of the enemy’s greatest lies is to tell you that nothing is ever going to change. He’ll tell you that you’re never going to get well, that your marriage isn’t going to work out, that you’re never going to break that addiction. But, I want to tell you, it doesn’t matter how long you’ve been in those circumstances, God can change things in an instant! In a split second of time, He can turn it all around. One touch of God’s power can heal your body. One touch of His favour can promote you. One touch of His goodness can solve that problem. Just one touch from Almighty God can instantly change your life.

Today, I encourage you to keep believing, keep standing and keep hoping. Don’t let the enemy drag your thoughts down, because God is working things out for your good. Your time is coming, and I declare that your breakthrough is going to happen suddenly–in an instant!

“”¦And in an instant, suddenly, you shall be visited and delivered by the Lord of hosts”¦”

(Isaiah 29:5-6, AMPC)

Pray With Me
Yahweh, I choose to trust that You are working things out for my good. Father, I choose to stand in faith, believing that my breakthrough is coming instantly. God, give me Your strength and peace as I patiently wait on You, in Jesus’ Name! Amen.

Stop Procrastinating

Stop Procrastinating

It’s so interesting how easy it is to procrastinate (put things off). We plan on doing something and we have good intentions, but we just keep on putting it off till later. We say, “one day, I’m going to start exercising. One day, I’m going to get my finances in order. One day, I’m going to forgive that person who hurt me.” The problem with this kind of thinking is that “one day” never comes. There will always be some reason to keep delaying it.

Right now, is there something in your heart that you know you need to do? Maybe God has been dealing with you on a particular issue, and you keep putting it off. You think, “as soon as I get through this busy season, then I’ll spend more time with my family. As soon as the price of gas goes down, then I’ll start tithing. As soon as my child gets out of diapers, then I’m going to get my family back in church. As soon as I stop doing bad stuff I’ll get baptised.”

Today, I want to remind us all, good intentions don’t equal obedience. Someone once said the road to destruction is paved with good intentions. The quicker you do what you feel down in your spirit, the happier you’re going to be. Don’t let unfinished business keep you from God’s best. Step out, obey His voice, and walk in the blessings He has for you!

“I made haste, and did not delay to keep Your commandments.”

(Psalm 119:60, NKJV)

Pray With Us
Yahweh, thank You for Your patience and grace towards me. Father, today I rebuke procrastination in my life. Search my heart, show me the way to go. Let  my obedience overtake my good intentions. God, I choose to obey Your voice quickly, and honour You in all that I do, in Jesus’ Name! Amen.

God I’m Ready For My Shift!

God I’m Ready For My Shift!

I declare that a shift is coming in your life and in your circumstances. Whatever you need in your health, in your finances, or in your relationship. It may not look like anything is happening, but we serve a mighty God. He’s about to speak in your direction in a new way!

Like God told the Israelites, the enemies you have seen in the past, or even today, you will see no more. The addictions or bad habits that have held you back can be broken, in Jesus’ Name. God’s favour is being released in a new way that will propel you forward. What should have taken years to accomplish, God is going to do in a split second!

Today, I declare your shift is accelerated in Jesus’ Name. The shift means going beyond where you could go on your own. The shift is seeing Jehovah Jireh, the Lord our Provider, do exceedingly, abundantly, above and beyond. Now, our attitude should be, “God, I’m ready. I’m taking the limits off of You. I’m enlarging my vision. I may not see a way, but I know You have a way. I declare I’m coming into a shift!” Hallelujah!

“You will also declare a thing, and it will be established for you; so light will shine on your ways.”

(Job 22:28, NKJV)

Pray With Me
Yahweh, I open my heart and mind to You. Father, I declare that a supernatural shift is coming my way. God, I receive Your Word, I receive Your truth, and I receive the increase You have in store for me, and today I walk in my declaration, in Jesus’ Name! Amen.

God’s Favour Equals Success

God's Favour Equals Success

Success in this life isn’t necessarily about how much money, or influence or education someone has. Success is about living a life of excellence in obedience to God’s Word. When we step out to do what God has called us to do, Scripture says that His favour surrounds us like a shield. When we have His favour, we have everything; we have an advantage for success!

Favour opens doors. Favour will bring good breaks. The favour of God will cause you to accomplish what you could not accomplish on your own. It gives you an edge. Now, if you’re going to see the gracious hand of God at work in your life, you can’t go through the day feeling intimidated, thinking that you’re average, looking around and comparing yourself to everyone else.

Today, you have to live like you have His favour, think like you have favour, talk like you have favour, walk like you have favour, dress like you have favour! Not arrogantly. Not in a way that portrays that you’re better than somebody else, but with quiet humility and confidence, knowing that you have the gracious hand of God on your life! Live like you’ve got it because you do! Hallelujah!

His favour lasts a lifetime

(Psalm 30:5, NIV)?

Pray With Me
Yahweh, thank You for Your grace, favour and mercy upon my life. Father, I praise You today because You are good. I receive Your truth by faith and rise up to walk in my calling. God, I know that You are going before me to prepare the way, as I walk in Your favour all the days of my life, in Jesus’ Name! Amen.

A special word from the Lord, from Pastor Ray Patrick

Move Forward

A Letter to YOU from the Devil

What was your past like? Have you made a decision to forget the negative things of your past? Many people don’t fully understand what that means. They wonder, “how can I forget something that’s happened to me?” But one definition of the word forget is to disregard intentionally, or to overlook. In other words, you have to choose to disregard your past so that it doesn’t keep you from moving forward. That could mean the good and the bad.

Sometimes our past victories keep us from rising higher as much as past failures. Sometimes if we don’t let go of the old, we’ll never be able to embrace the new. It doesn’t matter what’s happened in your history, it’s time to forget what lies behind and live in the present – live forward.

Today, make the choice to move forward. Trust that God has a better future in store for you. Trust that He’s working on your behalf. As you forget what lies behind and press forward, you’ll automatically move forward. You’ll see increase and blessing, and live the abundant life He has in store for you with excitement and vitality!

“I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead”

(Philippians 3:13, NLT)

Pray With Me
Yahweh, today I choose to move beyond my past. Father, I don’t want anything to hold me back from what You have in store for my future. I choose forgiveness and peace. God, help me, by Your Spirit, to press forward into the life of blessings and excitement You have in store for me, in Jesus’ Name! Amen.

A special word from the Lord, from Pastor Ray Patrick.

My Present Help

Today’s verse is taken from a time in my life when I got arrested and felt all alone, but the thought that God was always with me was comforting. It means He is present at all times – continually, perpetually, throughout all time. In your day of trouble, He promises to be a help to you.

You may ask How is He your help? “Help” means something different to each person. That’s because “help” is specific to your need. If you need money to pay your bills, a chocolate cake isn’t going to be much help! But, we serve a God who is very specific. And because He is always with you, He always knows exactly what you need and is always ready to provide it!

Today, as trouble and adversity come your way, know that God is with you. Trust that He has the answer, and that He is working things out. As you continue to believe Him and follow His direction, He will lead you in the way that you should go. He will comfort you, revive you, restore you and bless you! He will be your ever-present help, because He is forever faithful to His promise!

God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.

(Psalm 46:1, NIV)

Pray With Me
Yahweh, thank You for being my ever-present help during some tough times. Father, I trust today that You will comfort me and restore my soul. God, I lift my eyes to You this day. Help me to follow Your commands and honour You, as You direct my steps and lead me out of trouble, in Jesus’ Name! Amen.

A special word from the Lord, from Pastor Ray Patrick

Aim For Righteous And Loyalty

In Uncertain Times Christ's Death and Resurrection Offer Comfort and Hope

It has been said that righteousness and loyalty go hand in hand. In other words, if we’re not being loyal to God then we aren’t going to experience God’s best. Loyal people are honourable people. When you’re loyal, you stick with someone through thick and thin. When you’re loyal, you keep your word to people even if you get a “better” offer.

Loyal people honour their parents and defend their family. Loyal people are respectful.  When you’re loyal, you are a person of integrity. You build trust with others. Is this an area where you can rise higher? Are you faithful in the things you’re committed to? Can you be more loyal?

Today, don’t let the distractions of everyday life keep you from being dedicated to God, family and friends. Look for ways to show honour to those around you. Is there something you need to set aside for the sake of a loved one? Show love by staying loyal. As Scripture promises, when you pursue loyalty and righteousness, you will find the abundant life God has for you!

“He who pursues righteousness and loyalty finds life”¦”

(Proverbs 21:21, NASB)

Pray With Me
Yahweh, thank You for the promise of life in Your Word. Father, please show me any area where I can rise up higher by pursuing loyalty. Help me, by Your Spirit, to be more committed and supportive to those around me. God, let Your light shine through me, as I pursue righteousness and loyalty today, in Jesus’ Name! Amen.

A special word from the Lord, from Pastor Ray Patrick

Right Friends – The Right Destiny

Don't put fullstop where God has placed a comma in your life

Ponder this, in Christ your destiny is too big to accomplish on your own. That’s why it’s so important to be connected to the right people. You have to understand that God has already placed certain people around you to speak faith into you. He has already placed people in your path that will inspire you, challenge you, and help you accomplish your dreams.

The reason some people never reach their highest potential is because they never get away from the wrong people. Recognise that not everyone is going where God is taking you. You’ve got to connect with people who understand a God given destiny, and can see your spiritual potential and your seeds of greatness.

Today, remember, you don’t have time to spend on people who are always pushing you down, telling you what you can’t do, or never giving you their approval no matter how hard you try. Those are not the friends you need, life is too short to drag people along. If you can get the wrong people out of your life, maybe then God will bring in the right people so you can fulfil the destiny He has mapped out for you.

“One who has unreliable friends soon comes to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.

Proverbs 18:24, NIV

Pray With Me
Yahweh, thank You for preparing the right people to place in my life. Father, please help me to discern the right people You have for me. God, give me the strength to release the wrong relationships, so I have room in my life for the people You have chosen to connect me with my destiny, in Jesus’ Name! Amen.

Dwell In Him

Dwell In Him

God has promised to be your Protector, your Defender, your Strength, your Shelter and so much more. Even when the storms of life come against you, as long as you are dwelling in Him, you dwell in safety and trust–nothing can take away your peace and joy. What does it mean to dwell in Him?

One of the definitions of the word “dwell” means to keep your attention directed toward something. The more you keep your attention directed toward God, the more you will know Him, and the more confidence you will have in Him.

When you focus your heart and mind on the Word of God, and declare His promises over your life, you are dwelling in Him. When you lift your voice in worship and give Him glory and honour, you are dwelling in Him. When you spend time meditating on Him and connecting with Him through prayer, you are dwelling in Him.

Today, are you facing a difficult situation? Give your attention to the Father. Do you need His peace and protection? Focus your heart and mind on Him. As you dwell on Him, you will see His goodness, and you’ll live in peace and victory all the days of your life!

“In peace I will both lie down and sleep, for You, Lord, alone make me dwell in safety and confident trust.”

(Psalm 4:8, AMPC)

Pray With Me
Yahweh, thank You for Your promise of peace and safety in my life. Father, I will give You my attention and focus. God, help me to dwell on You. Have Your way in me, and let everything I do bring glory to You, in Jesus’ Name! Amen.

As seen on
