From Faith to Reality

I hope I’m not the only one with such questions in mind. Yes, I know we are to have faith that the “…father give good gifts…” Mat 7:11. But because we live in dual dimensions, it’s easy to get things twisted. Getting the real mixed up with fantasy. Spiritual with carnality.

From imagination, we tend to develop an idea of what God has planned for us verses what He actually has in mind. How wonderful it would be to finally have and to hold a promise. But would it really be as wonderful as we’ve dreamed about?

Yes I know that He’s “…able to do exceeding, abundantly above all we may ask or think.” Eph 3:20, but can He really?

Would it really be wonderful?  I mean will it look like what I think it should look like? Will I recognize it when it appears?  Will I like it? Now that’s the real question, “Will I like it?”.

And especially since he’s said “… my thoughts are not your thoughts…” Is 55:8. What does he mean by that exactly? Will what he perceives as good for me be not good to me? After all, he is a father looking out for what’s best for his children.

I believe it’s only natural to imagine our response and the feelings of joy and fulfillment in receiving fulfilled promises. But what if what we imagined coming to manifestation wasn’t quite what God had in mind? Boy would that be disappointing. What if, what He called a “good thing” scared the bejesus out of you?

No matter what, there is one thing that I know for sure. And that is that he will give me, “…the desires of my heart.” Ps 37:4 And since, “…the father and I are one” Jn 10:30, I shall have, “whatsoever I say.” Mk 11:24 from faith, to reality.

The Greatest Gift

Sphere Of Influence

The greatest gift God has given us is to believe. If you believe and obey God’s Word, you will be successful. If you believe and obey God’s Word, you can overcome your past. If you believe and obey God’s Word, you will reach your God-given destiny. There is incredible power in what you believe, which leads to obedience.

What you believe is greater than your circumstances, greater than your trials, greater than your medical report, and greater than your bank account! When you believe what He says about you, then what you believe will supersede any natural law. I have a friend that came to Oakwood University with nothing but the clothes on his back. He graduated with his BA on time, MA a year later, then went on to get his PhD. Today, he is one of the world’s best motivational speakers, speaking to millions and motivating the players and staff at the NFL and NBA.  Against all odds, he believed he could do what God placed in his heart.

Today, nurture your belief by dwelling on His Word. As you get the Word of God in your heart, greater faith will come to you. Your, belief will grow, strengthen and will rise up in you, empowering you to take hold of all the blessings God has in store for you!

”God has dealt to each one a measure of faith.”

(Romans 12:3, NKJV)

Pray With Me
Yahweh, thank You for Your Word of truth which sets me free and gives me a greater believe in my heart for You. Father, I lift up my eyes to You and ask You to strengthen my belief. God, I turn my focus toward Your Word, and invite You to have Your way in may mind, body and soul, in Jesus’ Name! Amen.

Prayer in My Life “The Morning Watch”

Woman, You Are Enough

The very first outbreathing of the soul in the morning should be for the presence of Jesus. “Without Me,” He says, “ye can do nothing.” It is Jesus that we need; His light, His life, His spirit, must be ours continually. We need Him every hour. And we should pray in the morning that as the sun illuminates the landscape, and fills the world with light, so the Sun of Righteousness may shine into the chambers of mind and heart, and make us all light in the Lord.

We cannot do without His presence one moment. The enemy knows when we undertake to do without our Lord, and he is there, ready to fill our minds with his evil suggestions that we may fall from our steadfastness; but it is the desire of the Lord that from moment to moment we should abide in Him, and thus be complete in Him.

God designs that every one of us shall be perfect in Him, so that we may represent to the world the perfection of His character. He wants us to be set free from sin, that we may not disappoint Heaven, that we may not grieve our divine Redeemer. He does not desire us to profess Christianity, and yet not avail ourselves of that grace which is able to make us perfect, that we may be found wanting in nothing.

Prayer and faith will do what no power on earth can accomplish. We are seldom, in all respects, placed in the same position twice. We continually have new scenes and new trials to pass through, where past experience cannot be a sufficient guide. We must have the continual light that comes from God. Christ is ever sending messages to those who listen for His voice.

It is a part of God’s plan to grant us, in answer to the prayer of faith, that which He would not bestow did we not thus ask.

My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O Lord; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.

Psalm 5:3

Prayer
Dear Lord, help me remember what a difference it makes when I make time with You a priority in my morning. Awaken me in body and spirit each day with a desire to meet with You and to hear You speak words of affirmation, assurance and wisdom over my heart as I prepare to go into my day. In Jesus’ Name, Amen

Prayer is one of the most important things a Christian can do. It is a time they are communicating with God and it should be taken very seriously. While there is deep theological meaning in prayer, it doesn’t have to be something that is complicated and difficult.

Spiritual/religious practices are used around the world to cope with and treat health illnesses.

Research suggests these spiritual techniques are associated with decreases in depression and stress, and may reduce clinical symptoms, especially anxiety.

Scientists used qualitative and quantitative methodologies to measure the relationship between prayer and spiritual health. They found private and public prayer predicted better levels of spiritual health. Specifically, they found that both forms of prayer increased participants’ closeness to God and having a stronger sense of identity. Scientists also suggest that praying for oneself and for others has been found to be beneficial for spiritual-health and relationships.
