He said to them, "When you pray, say: "'Father, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come.
Luke 11:2
Jesus taught prayer is more than mere wishing, but a sincere and intense conviction God’s will is best. It’s our perception that needs changing, not our circumstance.
God Will Bring You Through
On my radio show (prayer on the line) last Friday, I received requests from many individuals who are in difficult seasons of life. Things just aren’t going their way, or they’re not where they want to be in life. In these times, it’s tempting to let discouragement and doubt come in and take away the peace and excitement you once had.
If you’re in one of those seasons right now, where you are struggling to truly be happy, this is not the way God wants you to live. He tells us in scripture that even in the difficult times, He is with us. Even when you can’t see a way out, He will make a way through this season. Even when things don’t turn out the way you planned, He has a plan to turn things around and get you through.
Today, don’t get upset or discouraged about your current situation. Instead, be determined to walk through it to victory. Declare by faith that no weapon formed against you shall prosper. Declare by faith that you will rise higher and become stronger. Keep standing, keep believing and keep hoping, because God has a bright future in store for you, and you will get through! Hallelujah!
“Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for You are close beside me. Your rod and Your staff protect and comfort me.” (Psalm 23:4, NLT)
Pray With Me
Yahweh, I humbly come to You today giving You this season in my life. Father, I ask for Your peace in the midst of life’s storms. Thank You for the promise that I will get through. God, give me Your strength to stand strong, knowing that with You, I will walk through every adversity the enemy has in store for me. I claim victory today, in Jesus’ Name! Amen.
Connected By Praise
When things get hopeless and seem uncontrollable, what do you do, or where do you turn? Habakkuk the biblical prophet knew what to do when things seemed completely hopeless. His world was falling apart around him. There was destruction everywhere. But Habakkuk knew that God was greater than what he was facing. So what did he do? He invited God into his circumstances by rejoicing and praising Him.
What situation are you facing? Does life seem dark or hopeless? No matter how difficult things may seem, God has a plan to bring you out into a place of victory. Your praise is the bridge that will carry you through, because your praise connects you to your Deliverer. Hallelujah!
Today, remember, God inhabits the praises of His people. Praise gets God’s attention and brings Him tangibly into your circumstances. When God shows up, miracles happen and things change. No matter how things may seem in the natural, you can find peace in your praise, and by staying joyful and focused on the God of your salvation.
“Even though the fig trees have no blossoms, and there are no grapes on the vines; even though the olive crop fails, and the fields lie empty and barren; even though the flocks die in the fields, and the cattle barns are empty, yet I will rejoice in the Lord! I will be joyful in the God of my salvation!”
(Habakkuk 3:17-18, NLT)?
Pray With Me
Yahweh, I come to You trusting that You will deliver me, when the blossoms of my life fail and life’s fields seem barren and empty. Father, no matter what is going on around me, today I choose to bless and praise Your name. God, I choose to stay connected to You by my praise, knowing that You are the source of my strength, hope and peace, in Jesus’ Name! Amen.

My Present Help
Today’s verse is taken from a time in my life when I got arrested and felt all alone, but the thought that God was always with me was comforting. It means He is present at all times – continually, perpetually, throughout all time. In your day of trouble, He promises to be a help to you.
You may ask How is He your help? “Help” means something different to each person. That’s because “help” is specific to your need. If you need money to pay your bills, a chocolate cake isn’t going to be much help! But, we serve a God who is very specific. And because He is always with you, He always knows exactly what you need and is always ready to provide it!
Today, as trouble and adversity come your way, know that God is with you. Trust that He has the answer, and that He is working things out. As you continue to believe Him and follow His direction, He will lead you in the way that you should go. He will comfort you, revive you, restore you and bless you! He will be your ever-present help, because He is forever faithful to His promise!
God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.
(Psalm 46:1, NIV)
Pray With Me
Yahweh, thank You for being my ever-present help during some tough times. Father, I trust today that You will comfort me and restore my soul. God, I lift my eyes to You this day. Help me to follow Your commands and honour You, as You direct my steps and lead me out of trouble, in Jesus’ Name! Amen.

Are You Fed Up? – Encouragement for Today
I share this for somebody who woke up, fed up, messed up and tired. I am sharing this for you who feel as if nothing you do, works and no matter how you pray, you cannot seem to get ahead. You’re staring at your vision board and the anger coursing through you, wants to rip it up. You’re reading over your book, for the tenth time, and it still doesn’t feel right. You’re counting the ticket sales, of your event, and they’re still at the same low as when you counted them ten minutes ago. You’ve paid for advertisements, you’ve shared the plans, you’ve spent the money and still nothing. You stepped out on faith and the enemy wants to make you believe, it was a mistake. You’ve given up the alcohol and now you’re contemplating taking one drink. You’ve deleted all the folk in your phone but the mindset, you’re currently in, has you thinking about calling somebody to take the pain away; only if it is temporary. Don’t do it. Don’t give up. Don’t throw in the towel. Don’t stop believing in the purpose God has placed the inside of you. Why not? Because I’m praying for you.
And beloved, my prayer for you today is simple ”¦ As you stand under an open Heaven, may you receive a fresh wind of anointing that shall hit your house, so heavy the windows shake. May the grace of a living God, saturate you like you’ve been caught in the thunderstorm without an umbrella. May God’s will for your life, be so clear, you’ll think it’s your new glasses when it’s all God.
May this week be the beginning of everything your faith has worked for. May God show up, in your life, so fast and on time, it’ll have you speaking in tongue; for the first time. May God allow the blessing, only He could perform, be so big that it’ll feel like an earthquake that shifted your house. May this minute, for all that are in your rightful place, be your last minute of minimum.
May this Monday, be the last Monday you find yourself missing out. May this be your last memory of having to ask people to borrow. May this be your last time going to bed hungry, unless it’s by choice. May this be your last time ever thinking God doesn’t hear the cry of the righteous. May this be the moment you walk, boldly, into the open door of your harvest. I’m praying for you, my brother and my sister because there shall be no soul left behind.
But I have prayed for you, that your faith may not fail; and you, when once you have turned again, strengthen your brothers.
Luke 22:32
Right Friends – The Right Destiny
Ponder this, in Christ your destiny is too big to accomplish on your own. That’s why it’s so important to be connected to the right people. You have to understand that God has already placed certain people around you to speak faith into you. He has already placed people in your path that will inspire you, challenge you, and help you accomplish your dreams.
The reason some people never reach their highest potential is because they never get away from the wrong people. Recognise that not everyone is going where God is taking you. You’ve got to connect with people who understand a God given destiny, and can see your spiritual potential and your seeds of greatness.
Today, remember, you don’t have time to spend on people who are always pushing you down, telling you what you can’t do, or never giving you their approval no matter how hard you try. Those are not the friends you need, life is too short to drag people along. If you can get the wrong people out of your life, maybe then God will bring in the right people so you can fulfil the destiny He has mapped out for you.
“One who has unreliable friends soon comes to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.
Proverbs 18:24, NIV
Pray With Me
Yahweh, thank You for preparing the right people to place in my life. Father, please help me to discern the right people You have for me. God, give me the strength to release the wrong relationships, so I have room in my life for the people You have chosen to connect me with my destiny, in Jesus’ Name! Amen.
The Enemy Will Flee
Today’s verse tells us that we shouldn’t just come any old way to God. We shouldn’t come empty-handed to the King of kings and the Lord of lords. What can we bring? What do we have that’s worthy of Almighty God? Our praise. Our thanksgiving. Our worship. We are to enter His gates with an offering from our hearts of adoration, because He is worthy!
Sinners and saints alike have the honour and privilege to enter boldly into God’s presence. Scripture says that we can come to His throne of grace and receive His mercy. Because He loves us, He has given us unlimited access to Himself 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Today, please understand, praise isn’t just about singing songs on Sabbath or Sunday mornings. Praise is the expression of gratefulness to God for all He has done. Praise gets God’s attention. Praise is a powerful tool in the life of the believer because God inhabits our praises! When we enter His presence, He enters our circumstances. When God shows up, the enemy must flee! Hallelujah! So this weekend enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and open the door for Him to move on your behalf!
“Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.”
Psalm 100:4, NKJV
Pray With Me
Yahweh, I come to You with thanksgiving in my heart. Father, I enter into Your courts with praise. God, today I declare that You are good, and Your mercy endures forever! Please have Your way in me by the power of Your Holy Spirit, in Jesus’ Name! Amen.
