You were on God’s mind before you were ever on your parents’ mind. He knew everything about you before you entered your mother’s womb. You were created on purpose, for a purpose. He planned the colour of your hair, the colour of your eyes and the colour of your skin. God gave you gifts, talents and abilities to be used for His glory. He took one look at you and said, “approved.”
It doesn’t matter who’s approval you didn’t get, know that Almighty God loves you and totally approves of you. There’s nothing you can do now or ever to change that. You may be thinking, “I’ve made so many mistakes, I have sinned wilfully, how can God approve of me?” Understand, when God sees you, He separates you from your behaviour. He may not approve of your actions, but He desires to help you grow and make better choices by His grace.
Today, receive His unconditional love and acceptance. Allow Him to work in your life. Allow His love to empower and strengthen you because He has approved and equipped you to live in victory all the days of your life!

Every morning you have the opportunity to set the tone for your whole day by putting God first. When you do that and go out with a grateful attitude and a positive spiritual frame of mind, not only will you feel better, but you’re going to draw in all the blessings of God, and pave the way for success and victory.
If you wake each morning thinking, “man, life’s a drag. Nothing good ever happens for me. It’s going to be a miserable day”, then your day will be dismal, and throughout the day you are going to attract defeat, failure and mediocrity.
Today, make a conscious decision to start your day moving in the right direction. Find things to thank God for. Make a list of all the blessings in your life, and put it on your bathroom mirror and have your own praise party each morning. As you continually choose to set your mind on Him first thing in the morning, you’ll position yourself for victory throughout the day, and enjoy the good things God has in store for you!

God longs to be your sun and shield. You may ask what does the sun do for us? It lights our way; it keeps us warm; it nourishes the plants of the earth so that we can have sustenance. The earth is sustained by its relationship to the sun, and God wants to sustain you through your relationship with Him. He wants to be your shield of protection against all the fiery darts of the enemy. He wants to light and direct your path. He wants to keep you warm when life seems cold.
Today, are you ready to receive God as your sun and shield? If you’ve been relying on anything or anyone else, let it go and put your trust in Almighty God. Open your heart and receive all that He has for you. Receive His blessing and protection today. Let His light shine on your path so you can move forward into the life God has for you!

In the Old Testament, Hannah desperately wanted children. Every year, when her family went to worship at Shiloh, she judged herself to be a failure by her culture’s standards. And one day it broke her. She was in deep anguish; she couldn’t eat, and all she could do was weep. No one could comfort her. Despite the hopelessness of her situation, Hannah prayed and turned to the Holy One, who “had closed her womb.”
With all of her emotions, she begged God to attend to her helplessness and grant her a son. In her prayer, Hannah trusted that God heard her and cared about her and would answer her cry. God did hear Hallelujah! God gave Hannah the gift of a son.
Today, when we experience dark days and seasons of grief and despair, like Hannah in the bible, we can cry out to God and claim His faithfulness. In such moments we are called to remember the story and love of our generous, gracious God—the God of hope, the God who will make right what is wrong in our lives, the God who will overturn all that causes us grief. Just like Hannah’s prayer was answered with a son, our moments of desperation, despair and discouragement can be reversed with the gift of God’s son Jesus Christ. Why not try Him today.

These days are frustrating and sometimes overwhelming to say the least. During times like these, we have to be especially careful about what we think and say. It is said that our lives will go in the direction of our thoughts. Do you need to change your thoughts?
In Psalm 77 the psalmist, while under immense pressure and challenges, cried out to God and said, “You know what? I’m going to focus on what You have done for me. I’m going to dwell on Your goodness. I will recall Your deeds.”
Today, you may be frustrated and facing challenges, don’t dwell on negative, self-defeating thoughts. Instead, recall God’s deeds. Focus on what He’s done for you. Thank Him for the gift of life and salvation. Make a list of all His wonderful blessings. Let your thoughts turn toward Him throughout the day and recall His wonderful deeds!

Did you know true Confession is more than just admitting wrongdoing; it’s an acknowledgement of our need for God’s grace. When we confess our sins, we’re not informing God of something He doesn’t already know. Instead, we’re agreeing with Him about our sinfulness and expressing our desire for His forgiveness and cleansing.
Scripture says, God’s response to our confession is both faithful and just. He is faithful, meaning He will always forgive as He has promised. He is just, because Jesus Christ has already paid the penalty for our sins. This divine forgiveness is complete, covering every aspect of our sinfulness and purifying us from all unrighteousness.

In these uncertain times we can learn the attitude of the psalmist David. He was going through very tough uncertain times when he declared the words in today’s verse. He said in effect, “I’m not worried. I’m not upset. I am confident I will see God’s goodness.” In other words, “this situation I’m in may be rough, but that’s not going to steal my vision or joy. It’s not going to cause me to give up on my dreams. I am confident that in this crazy unpredictable year, I will see God’s favour unfold in my life.”
Today remember, what you focus on, is what will come to pass. No matter what the medical report says, no matter what your finances look like, no matter how bad that relationship may seem, be confident that you will see God’s goodness unfold in your life!

Here’s the key; you have to believe you can be restored and have that vision printed in the forefront of your mind. Draw a line in the sand and say, “I am a child of the Most High God, and I’m not going to live my life negative and defeated. This is a new day, and I’m taking back what belongs to me. You’ve probably heard the statement many times “God is a God of abundance!” It’s very true. He wants to pour out His blessings on you until you are so full that you are running over with His goodness.
Scripture says, “Give, and it will be given to you.” Your giving is what sets the blessing of God into motion in your life. Your giving is a spiritual seed. In the natural, when you plant an apple seed, it doesn’t just grow a single fruit. That one seed grows into a tree that has an abundance of apples. The same thing happens when you obey God in your giving. You get an abundant harvest in return. You are so blessed that you can’t even contain it! You just have to keep giving, and the cycle just keeps repeating itself.
Today, is there something the Lord is telling you to give (knowing that giving brings abundance)? What do you have in your hand that you can use to be a blessing to someone else? Take a step of faith, sow that seed and set the blessings of God in motion in your life, and open the door to His abundance!

One thing I desire is to be counted among those who intentionally draw near to Jesus. Near to the One who saves us, loves us, and pours immeasurable grace and mercy into our lives. The One who leads and guides us, strengthens us, and never leaves us.
In the bible, we are reminded of folk who desired to be close to Jesus. I remember Mary, at the feet of Jesus. John, the beloved disciple, leaning on the chest of our Lord. David, the psalmist whose soul thirst for God. Enoch, walking close beside Him—so close, in fact, that God just walked him on up to Heaven, completely bypassing death. The list could go on and on. I want my name to be included with those who have deeply desired intimate communion and fellowship with the Lord. Don’t you?
Today, I want to draw near to the Lord who wakes me up each morning and reminds me that this new day He has made is a day to be glad. And I am glad—deep in my heart, glad that I am His and He is mine. I am grateful that I have the privilege of walking in a close relationship with Him. Let’s live each day for Him and with Him and be counted as one of God’s closest friends. There is no better place to be.

Yahweh, I thank You that You desire to spend time with me. Father, Your Word says if I draw near to You, You will draw near to me—and I want to be close to You. So, right now, I ask that You cause me to desire to draw close to You above everything else in my life. God, help me to have supernatural time management, help me to see clearly when I can set aside time to spend with You, and help me never to compromise that time. In Christ’s name, Amen.
When we ask God to change us or fix us and He begins to do a work in our lives, things can get a little uncomfortable before we see change, or whilst He is changing us. We may encounter people who are hard to get along with or experience circumstances that seem beyond our control. When this happens, instead of getting upset or complaining, just pause and say, “Lord, thank You for doing a work in me.”
Did you know, God is more interested in changing you than He is in changing your circumstances? If you choose to stay sour because you’re not getting your own way, or if you get discouraged because things aren’t happening on your timetable, that’s going to keep you stuck, miserable and sad.
Today, if you want to see change, if you want to see God open up new doors, the key is to bloom right where you’re planted. You can’t wait until everything gets better before you decide to have a good attitude. You have to be the best that you can be right where you are. When you bloom where you are planted, you’re allowing God to work in you, and He will be faithful to complete the change He started in you!
“…he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 1:6)

Yahweh, I thank You for doing a work in me. I’m not complete but I can see growth in my life. Father, I will align myself with Your plan, so I can bloom wherever You plant me. God, help me, by Your Spirit, to be an example of Your love and life everywhere I go, in Christ’s Name! Amen.
With death, domestic violence, sibling rivalry, race issues etc on the increase, there will be more and more bitterness and long-term unforgiveness and resentment in our society. Bitterness is an extremely destructive force. It can seep into the depths of your heart if you choose not to forgive someone.
Scripture tells us that if we choose not to forgive others, it will even hinder our prayers. Thank God that He has empowered us to forgive and release bitterness! It all begins with a choice. You may have been through unfair situations, but it’s not over until God says it’s over. God always has the final say. He is a God of justice, even today during these hard times. He sees every wrong that’s ever been done to you and every unfair situation, and He will make it right. Trust Him!
Today, If you will stay in faith and choose to forgive, God will make your wrongs right. He’ll bring justice into your life. Your attitude should be, “it may have been unfair. They may have done me wrong, but I refuse to get bitter. I know my time is coming.” Choose forgiveness, honour God and walk in complete freedom in every area of your life!
“Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice.” (Ephesians 4:31)

Yahweh, today I refuse bitterness. I refuse to allow the past or present to keep me stuck. Father, take away my negative feelings towards others. Please help me right now to forgive those who have hurt me. God, I pray blessings on them, that they would come to know Your truth and their lives will be changed. In faith, I thank You for setting my heart free, in Jesus’ Name! Amen.
There is a principle called karma. Have you heard the saying, “What goes around, comes around” or “What you sow, you will reap?”. These are really spiritual principles. God’s kingdom operates on a system of sowing and reaping.
Today’s verse tells us that when we sow righteousness, we’ll reap a sure reward. What does that mean? Sowing righteousness simply means doing the right thing, obeying the Word no matter what the circumstances may look like. It means showing kindness even when it’s undeserved. It’s walking in love and keeping the peace when you really want to say something different. When you sow righteousness, you’ll reap a sure reward. That’s because God Himself is going to pay you back. He is the One who will multiply you when you honour Him.
Today, remember what goes around, comes around, so keep doing the right thing even if the wrong thing is happening. Sow righteousness, stay in faith, keep believing, because He who promised is faithful, and there’s a sure reward in store for you!
