Godinterest was originally conceived as a Christian social network in 2012. However, after a period of inactivity, the platform was relaunched. Dean Jones, a dedicated member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church of South England Conference, envisioned Godinterest as a digital space where users could share their faith through visual content, akin to Pinterest but with a Christian focus.
Usage
Godinterest operates as a free website where users can create personal accounts to share and explore a wide range of media.
Demographics
In its initial months, Godinterest garnered significant attention, receiving over 7,000 visits and attracting more than 6,000 users monthly. The user base primarily consists of young adults from the middle class, with a slight female majority (55% female vs. 45% male).

Following its relaunch, Godinterest received favorable mentions from various prominent sources, including the Seventh-day Adventist Church – South England Conference and The Messenger, the main printed journal of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
