Evaluate and Simplify

Working all day online, zoom meetings most evenings, dealing with personal issues in between. Sometimes it can be overwhelming. Do you ever feel overwhelmed by the obligations of everyday life? Does your schedule sometimes feel complicated?

Do you know one of the enemy’s greatest tactics is to keep you so busy doing so many good things, that there isn’t time for the most important thing? Jesus said that in this life one thing is needed, and that is to spend time with Him and in His Word. When His Word is a priority in our lives, everything else in life will fall into place. (Matthew 6:33)

Today, do you need to simplify your life in order to make room in your schedule for God, His will and His Word? If you’re not sure how to order your busy day, ask God to give you wisdom and show you how to manage your time. He loves you so much, and He loves it when you call on His Name. He longs to be good to those who are looking for His goodness. So evaluate your life, make space for quality time with God, so you can understand His will and embrace all that He desires for you!

“The unfolding of your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple.”

(Psalm 119:130, NIV)

Pray With Me
Yahweh, I surrender everything to You. Father, I give You my schedule and ask for Your wisdom to order my days. God, show me how to put You first in all things. Thank You for leading me and guiding me to this decision, despite neglecting You because of my busyness. Please help me to evaluate and prioritise putting You at the head and not the tail, in Christ’s Name! Amen.
