Israel Houghton has a song called Alpha and Omega. The titles “Alpha” and “Omega” represent the first and last letters of the Greek alphabet, symbolising that God is the beginning and the end of all things. He is not confined by the limitations of time and space. He existed before anything was made and will continue to exist eternally. In Him, the mysteries of the past, present, and future find their meaning.
Today’s verse reassures us of God’s unchanging and everlasting nature. In a world of constant change and uncertainty, the permanence of God’s presence provides a foundation of stability and hope. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever – the Almighty who governs the universe with unassailable power and authority.
Today, as you meditate on this scripture, it should fill you with awe and comfort. Whether facing life’s challenges or celebrating its joys, remember that you are in the hands of the Alpha and Omega. His eternal nature assures us that He is always in control, guiding history and our lives towards His ultimate purpose. In every situation, we can trust the One who is, who was, and who is to come.
I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.” (Revelation 1:8)
Let’s Pray
Yahweh, I have a sure hope in Your promise for my future. Father, because You are Alpha and Omega, outside of time, I can rest in Your blessed assurance because I trust in You alone for my salvation. As a sinner saved by Your gracious gift, You alone are my righteousness. No matter what happens, in this world, in my life, and in the lives of my loved ones, You are the great I AM. You are the end from the beginning. All things are in Your powerful hand and I can trust You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The problem is that both theists and atheists alike are under the assumption that the bible (KJV) teaches that this earth is God’s first and only rodeo.
3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made >THAT WAS MADE<. John 1:3 (KJV); For God to exist he must do so in a place or space (no matter how minuscule or vast), and there must be time for God to contemplate ANY creation (no matter how minuscule or vast), and God cannot create himself nor the time and space for himself to exist in, therefore God, time, and space have always been and will always be. Now before you cite Isaiah 46:10 (KJV), know this “Outside of time” is not a thing and nowhere is it written that God is a time traveler. God knows the end from the beginning because he is the cause of the beginning, middle, and end: 17 For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth. Romans 9:17 (KJV)
And
7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things. Isaiah 45:7 (KJV). God knows the heart of man, he softens or hardens to bring about his purposes and will.
And then you have John 1:1 and John 1:2, and to say that John 1:2 is a reiteration of John 1:1 is absurd. These are two different beginnings. John 1:1 is the beginning creation of this earth that started 13,500yrs ago. By God’s righteousness he cannot create man with a free will without a plan of salvation knowing that man will give into the lusts of the flesh and be servants of death. From the beginning that plan is the Word (Law) that entails a savior that completes or finishes the law (Word). Jesus was chosen to be that savior (the Word made flesh). The Word is not Jesus, but Jesus is apart of the Word. (God’s law is the “God” we are to love with all our heart, soul, and mind, Matt. 22:37).
John 1:2 is the beginning of God's initial creating, starting with the "word" (the “only begotten”) (a plan and rules for creation, John 1:3 (KJV)). We are not told how long ago this beginning was but by our finite senses of the known universe we know that it was over googol of years ago.
All glory to God. Amen
