It has been said that fathers are the world’s most unsung heroes. Their value is rarely acknowledged, and their sacrifices often go unseen and unappreciated. Once a year on Father’s Day, we have the ideal opportunity to show our dads how much they mean to us.
Around Mother’s Day we hear the old saying, “The hand that rocks the cradle rules the world.” But is that true?
Who am I? It’s a big question that we all endeavor to answer at some point. But can we truly answer it? Yes! Society often put labels on who you are, depending on your job, education, ethnic background etc. But these things don’t really speak to who you are.
In moments of stress, pressure, or fear or when you’re so exhausted you can’t think straight, have you ever been tempted to say, “Dear God, what is wrong with me? I feel like I’m losing my mind”?
With every problem or crisis that we acquire, there are two choices; fear or faith, and we must choose one each time we face a crisis. We make the choice, fear or faith, almost immediately and most of the time we aren’t even aware that we are making a choice.
If there is one thing that holds millions of people back each day from growing as an individual, achieving high levels of success and becoming the best version of themselves, fear is definitely at the top of the list.
Don’t get me wrong; life is a precious gift, but sometimes, life is hard. It can slap you around and unfortunate events sometimes happen sequentially.
Cross your fingers. Throw salt over your shoulder. Find a four leaf clover. Touch wood. Cross your heart. Recite the mantra. Avoid the black cat. Don’t walk under a ladder. Don’t step on the cracks!..
