Thank you for sharing that wonderful news, Shellie. In addition to those prayer requests, I will be praying for the follow-up and mentoring of these new converts, developing lay leaders from among them to carry on the work of the ministry.

What a wonderful description of truth, the providence of God, and the life of Peter Marshall! I hope that many truth-seekers and truth-finders will read this article and be drawn closer to the Truth.
Wonderful article! It reminds me of a book by Brother Andrew entitled “The Practice of the Presence of God”. It takes practice to get used to making God a part of the activities of each day and having a conversation with Him throughout the day, but it’s certainly worth the effort!
Wonderful article and photos! I spent two weeks there in 1971, and was so impressed by the cleanliness and the quality of living space that I wrote a paper on that country for a Cultural Geography class. At that time it was considered the cleanest country in the world. Thank you for bringing back those memories!

Since the first time i ever read it many years ago, #21 has been one of my favorites, and I remind myself of it often. II Cor. 12:9-10

Amazing creativity and realism. His works bring Michelangelo to my mind. Impressive!
Martin Luther: What an amazing man of God! I studied his life before becoming a Christian. Theologian, defender of the faith, lover of God and of the people, Bible translator, communicator, inspirational leader, and the list goes on and on.
True beauty is the reflection of the glory of God on our countenances, in our character, and through our lives, as God transforms us through fellowship with Him in His Word and in prayer. (II Corinthians 3:18) It’s a process that God wants to continually unfold before the world through our lives until we see Him face-to-face.

Christianity goes against human pride, and it’s going to be hated along with those who profess it. But every other road they hope will lead to true satisfaction and peace is a dead-end street. The darker it gets, the brighter the true lights will shine and the more easily they will be seen. Matthew 5:16. Thank you for expressing the need, and…[Read more]
Sad but true. John R.W. Stott expressed it this way: “The world manifests a constant tendency to deteriorate . . . Christians must retain their saltiness and allow the light of Christ to shine through them.” Thanks for sharing that information. The true Christians in Britain certainly need our prayers that God would give them strength and boldness.
Why have I entitled this article, “Nine Months Before Christmas”? If you’re a mother, you would have no difficulty understanding what I mean. Every year at this time, we celebrate the birth of the baby Jesus i […]

I like the “expando-sanctuary”! I just finished studying Jesus walking on water in John 6. There’s a principle that applies to both situations – “Don’t let obstacles (the water) get in the way of reaching the lost.” If you can’t walk to them, why not float to them!

Idolatry once again leads to persecution, but persecution leads to steadfastness, by the grace of God. James 1:2
C.S. Lewis had the God-given ability to relate truth about God and about life to every age-group, every socio-economic level, and every culture in such a way that they wanted to read more. He used that gift to the fullest. I especially like #28 for this Christmas season: “Once in our world, a stable had something in it that was bigger than our…[Read more]
