This World Will Tell You

This world will tell you strength lies in control and power.

I say real strength lies in submission and humility.

This world will tell you to put your needs first.

I say you should put others’ needs first.

This world will tell you to do whatever makes you happy.

I say you should use self-control and do what pleases God.

This world will tell you there is no God–just look at the science.

I say it’s ridiculous to think chance could create such detail, beauty, and intellect in its design.

This world will tell you to do and think many things,

but I’m telling you this world is wrong.

What would you like to know about me?IMG_7941

I love to ponder while drinking a cup of coffee. I am a wife and a mom. My husband works hard so I can stay at home. I am a person who continuously strives to grow (especially in the faith department) and to be fully presentâ€”â€”so I find myself turning the ringer off and placing my phone out of reach many times throughout the day.

Writing allows my mind to sift through the distractions of everyday life. It is my release, my passion, my way of sharing a part of me. It slows me down so I can focus on the important things of life. Writing makes my heart float.

My favorite bible verse is Psalms 46:10, â€œBe still, and know that I am Godâ€¦" It is He who is truly in control, so why not let go and follow His lead? I need daily (sometimes hourly) reminders of this.

Oh, and my favorite color is purple. I love sunshine, trees, the sky, and the smell right before it rainsâ€¦and I love to read. The end.

Israel is the only nation in the world that believes in one God one Faith and has lasted for over 5000yrs that is historical correct. The other great civilations of the world the Greeks, the Egyptians and the Roman Empire have all disappeared.
